Construction of the Kim Xuyen bridge spanning the Lo river has started.in Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province.

The ferro-concrete bridge, 11 metres wide and 638 metres long, has a total investment of VND 296 billion (US$15.6 million) from the Government bonds.

The bridge is expected to be completed in 2012, linking the local traffic network with Highways 37, 2C and 2, and connecting Son Duong district in Tuyen Quang province with Doan Hung district in Phu Tho province. Once completed, the bridge will help create favorable conditions for trade and make full use of local potential and advantages in natural resources for local socio-economic development.
